This bay will undoubtedly make people who visit it fall in love. Calo Des Moro is a small beach on the island of Mallorca in Spain. The bay water is protected from the wind on all sides, so there are almost no waves. It is very popular with tourists, despite the fact that it is not close by car, and those who travel by public transport and have to walk a long time. Due to poor accessibility of transportation, not all tourists find the strength to get here. All the difficulties are compensated by the picturesque bay that can be contemplated once coming to be able to observe the warm and transparent water with an impressive turquoise color and the opportunity to take incredibly beautiful photos.

However, despite this, the place is famous. The best time to visit it is from June to September. Typically, tourists stop at the main tourist centers of the island and come to this beach for only a few hours. Those who want to stay longer in this place and explore the surroundings in more detail can rent a villa in the nearby towns of Cala Lombards or Cala Santanyi. The beach has no infrastructure, maybe it has its own enthusiasm too. People who visit it enjoy swimming in the clear sea, some even risk walking on the rocks. Small fish can be easily seen in the clear water, and many take a mask and a tube to explore the sea. The entrance to the water here is smooth, close to the shore and very shallow, so families with children often rest here. Most of the bottom is sandy, but in places there are quite large rocks.

There are several caves in the bay, where you can swim. The beach seems to be tight between two rocky rocks framed with greenery, trees, and shrubs. It is especially interesting from above and fascinating images are obtained from a height where the beach opens in all its splendor. Not far from Cala des Moro, there is another beautiful beach, Cala S'Almunia. It does not have much sand and it is completely rocky, but the color of the water and its transparency impresses many. Vacationers consider this place to be ideal for snorkeling.

Since there are no restaurants nearby, it is best to bring food, especially if you are here all day. You should also be prepared for the fact that there are no showers or toilets, which could scare someone. Normally the water here is very clean, but there have been cases of garbage swimming in the sea, but this is rather a claim for tourists who do not collect their garbage after leaving.

Those who travel the island without a car can take a bus to Calo des Moro. From Palma the bus number 501 goes in this direction, you can get off at the stop "C / Llombards" and walk to the beach (about 6 km) or rent a taxi and go the rest of the way.
