Palma Aquarium is one of the best aquariums in Europe, it has 55 themed aquariums that house more than 700 species of fauna from the Mediterranean Sea, the total surface of the complex is a record 41 thousand square meters.

Heading to the Palma de Mallorca Aquarium, it is highly recommended to visit it and discover the amazing underwater world of the Mediterranean. The excursion lasts about 4 hours, during which visitors will pass through five themed zones. In the Mediterranean Sea section there are 24 aquariums with representatives of flora and fauna, as well as a mini outdoor aquarium, where you can touch a sea urchin or a sea cucumber. The 25 tropical marine aquariums are inhabited by species from the Indian, Atlantic and Pacific oceans. The Great Blue is the deepest shark aquarium in Europe, sailing just above the head of the visitors. And on the roof of the complex a section of tropical forest is recreated.

With part of its income coming from the entrances, the Palma Aquarium is dedicated to conserving marine flora and fauna, especially endangered habitats, such as the Indian Ocean and large coral settlements. The Aquarium has the largest collection of corals in Europe. Here you can see the coral "Champignon", the corals "Clown lips" and "Honeycomb", the actinia "Carpet", "Onion tentacles" and many sea sponges. The Palma Aquarium is one of the few aquariums in Europe where new corals are raised.
A complete tour of the Palma Aquarium will take at least 2 to 3 hours. The Oceanarium also has a roof garden that is unique. In addition to this high-rise "jungle" there is a garden of more than 40 thousand square meters, which is especially beautiful in spring. Here you can walk surrounded by palm trees, olive trees, vines, turtles and even a true tropical waterfall!

The Palma Aquarium is located east of the city, 500 m from Palma beach, almost immediately after the detour to the San Juan Song airport. There is a free car park near the Aquarium ticket office and park visitors can enjoy a discount in the underground public car park.
You can get to the Aquarium by taxi calling a car by phone or simply making a stop from the street.
