Plaza España

Gran Via Street starts from this magnificent green square, and in the middle of the square there is a monument to the Spanish writer Cervantes and next to it is a model of the protagonists of his novel Don Quixote and Panza Al-Falah. Adjacent to the square are two of the world's tallest skyscrapers, Edificio de Espana, which comes in the shape of a plane with its wings going upward. The Torre de Madrid skyscraper, which was the tallest skyscraper in the world when its construction was completed in (1957 AD)
