The Old Town of Marbella is located in the heart of the city, near the coastal strip, on one side the old town is bordered by the green park of Aroglio de la Represa and on the other by the small park of Alameda, where find the famous avenue of Marbella with the sculptures of Salvador Dalí - Avenida del Mar.
The old town looks quite clean and well-kept, which was facilitated by its recent restoration. One part of the streets is very lively and noisy, the other - quieter and more unpopulated, so walking here and looking at different corners with their own unique atmosphere will be very interesting. Local chapels, miniature churches and museums will make you want to stay in the area.
Although the old town of Marbella is small, it can be easily traveled in an hour with a small one, but it is renovated and very impressive, where there are also abundant shops, cafes, bars and restaurants.
The streets of Marbella's old town are basically narrow and winding, but there are also wider streets. Some of the streets are completely pedestrian, while others are open to traffic. There are more frequented streets, and there are more isolated and remote.
One of the most visited and central streets of the old city is Calle Peral.
