La Malagueta beach

On the east side of the coast, right from the port, is the most visited and famous beach in Malaga - La Malagueta or Playa de la Malagueta. Located in the central part of Malaga, on the cozy Costa del Sol.

Tourists from around the world and local citizens spend their beach vacations at this point.
Palm trees, unusual plants, trees grow on the shore, there are many molds, apartments, shops, there is a promenade, souvenir shops and rental points for swimming equipment, sports equipment, deck chairs among other services.

The beach is sandy, well equipped, wide and long. It has a length of 1,200 meters and an average width of 45 meters. There are several cafes that are located on the beach.

The sand was specially imported from the Sahara. Both on the seafront and a little further from the sea there are restaurants serving the freshest seafood.
Along both beaches there is a unique and picturesque promenade framed by tall palm trees. There are places for recreation, a sports field and a bicycle parking lot.
