Located in stunning Valencia, Spain's newest Westin hotel is housed in a former building dating from 1917.
Westin Hotels are renowned for their impressive service, impeccable taste, and unmatched amenities making it a high-end hotel.
State-of-the-art technology complements the classic style of the 135 rooms and are decorated in soft, muted tones - with red lamps for color - and have sofas and armchairs, signature beds, and down comforters. The large desks are specially designed for business travelers, providing plenty of space to fit a laptop or spread out papers, with reading lamps provided. Rooms have a somewhat corporate feel, with heavy wood paneling and generic designer rugs. Bathrooms have ceramic and stainless steel fixtures, granite sinks, and marble accents, plus deep-soaking tubs or high-tech showers. Rooms face the garden or have high-walled balconies overlooking the street (good for private sunbathing). The patios are quite large, with basic tables, loungers, and retractable awnings. High-speed Wi-Fi, multiple entertainment options, and a minibar are other highlights, but they do require a fee.
The hotel combines classic style with modern technology, attracting many business travelers and large groups with its ultra-modern meeting rooms and banquet hall. Housed in a majestic white building, easily one of the most impressive structures in the city, the hotel is within walking distance from the center of Valencia. There are three restaurants at the hotel to choose from, including those offering Mediterranean and Japanese dishes, plus a cocktail / club with terrace. The Caroli Health Club is a great place to replenish, with thermal and water treatments, and the rooms are spacious. However, some can be noisy and there are charges for Wi-Fi, parking, and use of the heated pool.
This hotel is non-smoking,travelers exploring this beautiful and historic city will find a warm welcome in the Westin Valenica, which is easily accessible by metro. Located in a quiet and luxurious neighborhood outside the main tourist areas, the hotel is located along Plaza del Real, separated from the old town by a quiet park. Guests can walk 20 minutes along the Turia Gardens to reach the historic center - the path has many restaurants, bars, and shops, and is ideal for shadow jogging and evening concerts. The City of Arts and Sciences, with incredible architecture, is further down the road. In the immediate vicinity of the hotel there are fruit shops, cafes and a military museum. Still, it's a bit out of the way, so those who want quick access to the old city may prefer to take a taxi or the subway (about a 10-minute ride). The beach is about 20 minutes. Although it's a quiet neighborhood, the Estadio De Mestalla football stadium is right across the street, and home games draw crowds.
