Day 1 : ORIGIN - MADRID
Upon arrival to Madrid Airport you will be welcomed by our driver and then transfer to the hotel. Check-in and rest of the day free to explore the Royal capital of Spain, a cosmopolitan city that combines modern infrastructure with its status as an economic, financial and administrative with immense cultural and artistic heritage with more than 60 museums. Discover the old historic centre, also known as "Madrid de los Austrias", and the imposing Plaza Mayor square (1620). The Puerta del Sol square, the very center of the city, is surrounded by an extensive area of shops and businesses, and the “Paseo del Arte” Art Walk - whose name derives from the world class museums, palaces and gardens located in the area. Day 2 : MADRID (Sightseeing City Tour)
Buffet Breakfast. Today you will discover the Spanish capital, a fantastic city being one of the greatest cultural hubs in the world. Fine restaurants and tapas bars are plentiful around the city to give you a real taste of Spain with hundred-year-old establishments and Michelin-star restaurants for a real romantic dinner. Near the plaza Mayor is the area known as the old aristocratic center where the jewel in the crown is the Royal Palace, an imposing building, whose works began in 1738, and was completed in 1764, featuring a mixture of Baroque and Classicist styles. Besides it, is Plaza de Oriente, the Teatro Real Opera house, and the cathedral of La Almudena. Day 3 : MADRID (Option: Day trips to the Surroundings)
Buffet Breakfast. Day at leisure. Option: You can take one of our day trips from Madrid to visit: Toledo, known as the Imperial City or “City of the three Cultures”; Avila, whose historic centre and the churches outside the city walls have been awarded with the World Heritage designation by the UNESCO; Aranjuez, a Historic- Artistic Site, with royal palaces, and gardens on the banks of the Tagus river which was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO; or El Escorial, where you will find a UNESCO World Heritage-designated monastery, home to the secrets of Spanish history, as well as, a charming town in beautiful natural surroundings.
