Olite Royal Palace (43 km)

The Palacio Real de Olite, or better known officially as the Palacio Real de Navarra in Olite, was built in the 15th century as the residence of the Kings of Navarra. The castle acquired its modern appearance as a result of reconstruction during Franco's time. The Royal Palace of Olite was recognized as one of the seven medieval wonders of Spain, along with the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, the Alhambra and the Poblet Monastery.
